At the end of the seventies decade, and due to the huge shortage of medicines in Cuba, a group of Cuban physicians, in collaboration with Yarif Malimovka, an Israeli professor, decided to undertake (using the rich Cuban flora) a research, combining medicinal plants (which have anti-tumor properties) with glutathione precursor amino acids and anti-oxidant vitamins, all widely investigated by scientists.
Initially, a product named RT-1 was prepared, and it was used in the field of bronchopulmonary diseases (asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, pleurisy and so on) with amazingly good results.
For example, this product was able to relieve and make asthmatic seizures disappear in most cases, with good and fast recoveries of the respiratory system.
Among the huge amount of patients treated, many of them suffered from different diseases like gangrened limbs (to be amputated but which not happened finally thank to the treatment with our product) due to diabetes complications: deforming rheumatoid arthritis and other types of rheumatisms, unknown etiology pains (or “-algias”), like fibromyalgia, different types of dermatitis, scleroderma psoriasis, plate sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, lupus erythematosus, and other wearing and degenerative brain diseases and great number of immune-driven diseases, even in infectious diseases provoked by fungi. In all the foregoing diseases the response to the treatment was satisfactory, like, for example, the improvement obtained in different types of hepatitis, like hepatitis C, as well as its preventive action in winter epidemic viral diseases typical of elder patients and disease prone WHO had no symptoms after having taken the product.
During this early stage they found as well an amazing response to certain cancer diseases, like lung cancer, stomach cancer, colon cancer, bladder cancer, etc that some of the asthmatic patients had.
They continued their research with another group of plants which helped the patients who lived in a weakened condition because of the chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions, creating a second product named RT-2 which diminished the tumor, even encapsulating it.
This product, RT-2 was used as invigorating and tonic, since it was able to increase the number of white blood cells (or leukocytes). The immune system was stimulated, so that it activated its cleaning action and a rise of platelets could be seen as well as neutrophils which set up a defense against cancer, thus guaranteeing an attack against malignant cells that destroys them in a natural non aggressive way.
500 healthy individuals without cancer were treated in order to study the preventive action of the RT-2. Five years after, a revision was made, resulting that it did not appear any cancer case when statistically a great number of cases should have appeared, since many of the individuals genetically prone to suffer from cancer.
Due to the qualities of the products, they were used in military survival training. The result was that those individuals who had taken the products showed higher levels of stamina and fewer diseases than those who had taken a placebo. The product was used as well in the field of GERIATRICS with excellent results. Many of the symptoms of old age disappeared and the individuals showed more vigor and caused a rise in libido.
After many years of clinical experience with these products (RT-1 Y RT-2), they were fused together, applying the benefits of sea water (also widely researched), being the result of such fusion a dietetic product named "REFENSAL".
